Design Journey
Born in Monterrey, Mexico, Victoria Vega moved to Canada over a decade ago. Her passion for interior design began early—rearranging bedroom furniture, adding thoughtful touches, and always finding ways to make a space feel more like home.
As she grew, so did her appreciation for the powerful relationship between form and function. She began to see how a well-designed space could not only support everyday life but also influence mood and emotion, creating a deeper, more personal experience.
Victoria started her career in the design industry through countertop sales, where she gained a strong foundation in materials and finishes. She then worked with custom millwork companies, building her understanding of craftsmanship and detail, before moving into high-end residential design at two of Victoria’s most recognized interior design firms. There, she contributed to award-winning projects and continued to refine her creative process.
These experiences, combined with her deep-rooted passion became the foundation for House of Tory.
The House of Tory Approach
House of Tory was built on the belief that great design is both personal and purposeful. Victoria does not follow a set style. Instead, she approaches each project with fresh eyes, tailoring every detail to her clients' needs, goals, and lifestyle. She believes that function and aesthetics go hand in hand, and it is this balance that brings a space to life.
What sets House of Tory apart is the level of involvement from start to finish. Victoria remains hands-on throughout the entire process, ensuring that every element is executed with care, intention, and precision.
Her distinctive eye for design allows her to bring fresh, original ideas to each project, always adding thoughtful touches that make a space feel special. With a focus on materials that stand the test of time, and a refined sense for pairing finishes in a way that elevates the overall feel, every detail is chosen with purpose.
At House of Tory, the result is more than a beautiful space. It is one that feels meaningful, balanced, and uniquely yours.
